Two new improvements to Google results pages

As Google stated on 3/24/09 "today we're rolling out two new improvements to Google search. The first offers an expanded list of useful related searches and the second is the addition of longer search result descriptions -- both of which help guide users more effectively to the information they need."

The expanded list of related words which can found at the bottom and sometimes at the top of the search engine results page (SERP) will not only assist the searcher but will also provide SEOs like me with an additional tool for keyword research. Now that Google recognizes longer search queries they also expanded the the length of the search result description and that will provide us with more characters to send our marketing message. Since the advent of the Google's searchwiki it became even more important to send a clear message to remain a relevant result in a logged-in individual's web browser.
